Mocks of front cover, double page spread and also contents pages.
To be scanned in and uploaded on monday :)
Plan for photos.
For my front cover picture I am going to have my artist who The double page spread feature article is going to be about. The female model I have decided to use is Charlotte Barker. First of all they will be wearing bright pink or red lipstick. Their outfit shall be a flowing dress and a military style dress also. I have not as of yet decided on props. She will be wearing pretty neutral colors. I am going to have these photos taken in my local park on a bright day so I will have a lot of lighting to highlight her. meaning lots of color.

the institution for my magazine: BAUER
I believe the institution which would be best to publish my magazine would be Bauer. this is because they have no other magazine like mine which is for females and for a younger age range. They hit audiences of 19million people showing the brands they are producing are obviously quiet popular.
Target Audience: media theory!
The many theories to use are for example demographic.
for demographic we look at GRASS.
this stands for:
G - gender
R - Race
A - age
S - social class.
For my magazine this will be:
Gender: female.
Race: White British
Age: 14-17 years old
Social class: working class.

Analysis of journalistic style
From the double page spread I have analysed I can see the picture of the band and their image stands out as it takes up one whole page. The article is then written in column's. Certain parts of the text have been picked out by the journalist and written in a bold font that stands out and is in a different colour, as i have noticed from most double page spreads i have analysed this tends to be something the artists have said during their interview or something and the quote is important and says something about the artist. The name of the band at the top of the atrticle is eye catching and tells us exactly what the article will be about.
The unique selling point of my product
The unique selling point of my magazine will be that it will be a pop magazine for a younger age range. It will cover new artists, the cover shall be eye catching and will be fairly busy with no blank spaces. my double page spread will be colourful with the use of pink and greens for writing.

Beth, you are falling behind with this work and it doesn't look like you are working on this in your own time. The contnets page for the prelim is still not on here. All your research and planning should be complete by monday. Blogging will not b permitted in lessons from monday. Next week you must write the first draft of your article and take your photographs. Please ensure this shoot is planned and the studio is booked.
You must work on this in your own time or it will not get done. Stage one warning.
